Partha’s piece of the Internet

I hold a PhD in Artifical Intelligence from the Computer Vision Lab (Thesis available here), under the Informatics Institute of the University of Amsterdam. My promoters were Prof. dr. Theo Gevers and dr. Sezer Karaoglu. My research interests are in physics based image understanding, represention learning and reasoning, using deep learning & traditional approaches. Specifically, tasks like image formation, light estimation, colour correction, self/un-supervised learning, explainability etc. I am interested in levying these approaches to build efficient & stable Computer Visions systems like AR/VR/Mixed Reality.

I am part of the _LIMIT.Lab_ collaboration and community, where I am actively collaborating with other partner researchers and labs. I am also currently a Deep Learning/Computer Vision researcher at WAIRForRetail, as well as a guest researcher at the Computer Vision Lab of University of Amsterdam. Feel free to reach out if you are interested in colloborations or just want to chat/discuss research.
